City of Gangsters, a Prohibition Management Sim, Announced
City of Gangsters, a management sim set in the US Prohibition era, will arrive for PC in 2021. Revealed during Gamescom by SomaSim and Kasedo Games (Project Highrise), City of Gangsters will see you start from nothing in a variety of cities - including Chicago, Detroit and Pittsburgh - set up your illegal operations, and build a criminal empire across the city. Strategy aspects will include researching new technology, building a network of contacts, setting up complementary businesses to hide your illegal operations, and keeping police and competitors at bay. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/29/city-of-gangsters-challenges-you-to-rise-up-the-criminal-ranks-in-1920s-chicago"] Every game's on an in-built timer, beginning with the Prohibition of 1920, and ending in 1933, when alcohol became legal once more - it's your job to build your empire and control the city by the end of that time.
