Spellbreak Headed to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch
Spellbreak, the magic-based battle royale, is coming to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this year, with cross-platform play (including on the existing PS4 and PC versions). Announced exclusively during the IGN Expo, developer Proletariat also announced that it is giving away the exclusive 'Treeline' skin to celebrate the announcement. The skin - which is for the PC version of the game, for US regions only - can be redeemed at http://playspellbreak.com/ign. You can check out a trailer for the announcement below: [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/05/spellbreak-mastering-the-elements-gameplay-trailer"] Spellbreak takes the battle royale template and adds a magic twist, allowing players to choose a class of Battlemage and create their own combinations of spells to conquer the Hollow Lands, both in solo and squad modes. The game is in beta on PS4 and Epic Games Store right now. There's much, much more to see from today's IGN Expo, and we're running the Summer of Gaming throughout June – here's the Summer of Gaming full schedule. All month, we're supporting some incredibly important causes – the World Health Organisation and The Bail Project – if you are able, help us support them too at donate.ign.com.
