Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 3 Launching a Little Later Than Planned

Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 3 will be launching a little later than expected, giving players a few extra days to fill out their Season 2 Battle Passes. Epic announced that Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 2 will be extended by one week, with Season 3 now set to launch on Thursday, June 11 instead of June 4. Epic also confirmed that "a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!)." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/full-fortnite-x-travis-scott-astronomical-concert"] Originally set to end on April 30, Epic extended Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 2, a season which has seen the inclusion of a Deadpool skin as well as several other X-Force skins. Fortnite's second season in Chapter 2 has had a spy-themed aesthetic surrounding the many events that have taken place in the game over recent months. But the season has also been home to the impressive Travis Scott in-game concert experience, the debut of a new trailer for Christopher Nolan's Tenet, a Party Royale concert event. Epic hasn't revealed much about what Season 3 will entail as part of this update.
