Wasteland 3 Delayed to August
Wasteland 3 has been delayed to August 28, as developer inXile faces the "new logistical challenges" of working from home amid the coronavirus pandemic. The RPG was previously scheduled to be released on May 19. In a letter posted to Twitter, inXile studio head Brian Fargo explained the staff began working from home "some weeks ago," and the challenges of operating in that new environment ultimately led to the delay. Wasteland 3 was announced in 2016 alongside a Fig-hosted crowdfunding campaign, which was completed in just three days. During development, inXile was acquired by Microsoft, though Wasteland 3 will still be released on PlayStation 4, in addition to Xbox One and PC.
